KnetMiner allows you to save your networks to view and edit later, show to others or cite an interactive network.
Sharing a network
There are two methods to share your networks with others. For either, start by navigating to the /networks page. From here, hover over a card and click the Share button at the top right of the network, just to the left of the Delete button.
Alternatively you can open a Saved network and then share it using the same Share button in the top header.
From here, you can choose to invite a single person by using their KnetMiner registered email address, or inviting an entire team (see Teams below)
Setting permissions
There are three levels of Permissions:
1. Can view: users invited can view the network.
2. Can duplicate: users invited can view and also duplicate the network to their own networks, where they can modify their own duplicated network.
3. Can duplicate/share: same as above, but users can also re-share your own network.
Globally, network visibility can be set between “Only people invited to this network” and “Anyone with the link”.
As of mid 2024, you cannot collaborate together on the same network. Only the owner of the network can save changes.
Teams
Teams are automatically created when a user purchases a resource with >1 seats. They are created in the following format:
[FirstName]’s [ResourceName] Team.
For example: Arne’s Cereals Premium Team.
All seatholders can invite oneanother to networks using the Invite team funcionality.
